(does not include the Core Manual and must be taken within 12 months of passing the initial Core Manual Exam)

Exam Rewrite Fee for Failures  $75.00

You have 12 months in which to rewrite your exam.  You are allowed a maximum of two attempts of each exam in any period of six months (beginning from the date of the first attempt).  You can reapply as a new applicant one year after your initial exam attempt if you are unsuccesful at obtaining certification.

Rescheduling or Cancelling an Exam Time

You may reschedule an exam time without a penalty, only once.  No refunds will be given.  You must notify Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification, University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus at least 48 hours before your scheduled exam time.  Failure to keep a scheduled appointment without notifying OPT&C will result in forfeiture of the full certification fee.

Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification, University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus, may cancel an exam due to insufficient exam requests, weather conditions or other difficulties.  This exam will be rescheduled and we will notify all registrants of these arrangements.

• Payments must be made by cheque, money order or credit card.  Full payment must be received before you will be sent study material and before you can schedule for an examination.
• No refunds are given
• Partial payment and post-dated cheques are not accepted.  There is a $30 charge for NSF cheques. (Do not send cash).  
• If you need to reschedule after you have already rescheduled your exam once, you will be required to pay a $75.00 Rescheduling Fee to write your exam.
